I play Cole Clark guitars for the richness of their body and bridge pickups. Phenomenal response in both studio and live situations!! Gorgeously suited to my individualistic percussive approach

PHIL MANNING and I are about to embark on a set of shows where we share a stage and play on a few of each other's tunes. One of Australia's best known guitarists, Phil grew up with music in his genes. From his earliest days backing pop artists and throughout his long career, his integrity has always set him apart. Many Australians know him as a member of Chain, the legendary blues band. Since the mid seventies, Phil has forged a brilliant solo career for himself. He has featured at all the major festivals and venues throughout the country, and the list of international artists he has performed with, is impressive. His experience spans three decades at the top of his field. His skillful touch and great passion for the blues have kept him musically progressive and prepared to interest himself in new ideas whilst maintaining his stylistic purpose. The result is a gifted songwriter with an awesome guitar technique.

Coming up on Friday 31 Oct & Saturday 1 Nov - ALEX LEGG w/CHRIS PAIN (harp) @ The New Capers with the LEGENDARY Renee Geyer & with Andy Cowan on December 5th

It's been a pleasure and a thrill for me to work with Australian Legends, ANDY COWAN, PETER CUPPLES and the AMAZING, RENEE GEYER. Following shows with ANDY COWAN then DEAN & CARRUTHERS and MICK PEALING - at this stunning venue with its HUGE sound and lighting and GREAT audiences! Thanks to the generous spirit of my friend Andy Cowan, for the intro and to Ian and his staff for a Legg-up into the company of these Stellar performers!

ALBERT LEE plays on Leggsongs, 'CUPID'S GRAVEYARD' and 'TURN THE LIGHTS DOWN'

English-born, Albert Lee has been in the Music Biz for 40 years and has been a mainstay in legendary lineups that include, ERIC CLAPTON, EMMYLOU, THE EVERLY BROTHERS, JOE COCKER, JOAN ARMATRADING, THE CRICKETS and now LEGG!! Albert's own showcase band, HEADS, HANDS and FEET were heroes of mine, way back!!

Alex Legg is DELIGHTED with his association with Melbourne Guitar-maker Cole Clark

Alex' unique percussive guitar style caught the ear of Leading Australian guitar-maker Bradley Clark, genius designer and manufacturer of Cole Clark Guitars! He joins LLOYD SPIEGEL and other great artists, in endorsment of these fine instruments and says,"Its a privilege to be associated with Bradley and the Cole Clark team and to play these beautiful, boat-rocking, Weapons of Expression" These weapons of expression are currently occupied on a new CD project of songs which take the whole socio/political scenario to task over the Global misbehaviour of Bush, Brown, Howard and their (Far) Rt. (Dis) Honourable Corporate cronies.

"when I first heard Alex Legg, I was surprised to only see one musician on stage. His guitar technique blends percussion bass and harmony, without ever descending into pointless showboating, and when coupled with his thoughtful songwriting and sharp lyrics, makes for a pretty compelling show. I'm a fan"

(Bassplayer-extraordinaire, Steve Lawson - Bass Guitar Magazine)
