It's been a pleasure and a thrill for me to work with Australian Legends, PETER CUPPLES and the AMAZING, RENEE GEYER, Ms Geyer asking if harmonica-player, Chris Pain and I, would like to open her November shows at The New Capers... watch this space. Following 3 wonderful shows - two with ANDY COWAN then NEW YEAR'S EVE with DEAN & CARRUTHERS / MICK PEALING - at this stunning venue. HUGE sound and lighting! GREAT audiences! - Audiences - that's pretty much what it's all about for me. An audience never quite realises how much THEY contribute toward a great show. The effort made toward a night-out.... the hard-earned shillings spent on tickets and taxis, dressing up, hiring and arranging baby-sitters. All of that builds up to the electric expectation a performer meets when we come to the stage. How could any artist give less than 110% in return? Thanks to the generous spirit of my friend Andy Cowan, for the intro and to Ian and his staff for a Legg-up into the company of these Stellar performers! English-born, Albert Lee has been in the Music Biz for 40 years and has been a mainstay in legendary lineups that include, ERIC CLAPTON, EMMYLOU, THE EVERLY BROTHERS, JOE COCKER, JOAN ARMATRADING, THE CRICKETS and now LEGG!!
